So this is also something I've never shared. My boyfriend and I went to the 2010 Emerald City Comic Con and got a chance to meet Stan Lee. We had a tough time deciding what we wanted him to sign when we met him.

My boyfriend and I came up with a plan to do a homage cover of a Captain America comic, but use our own character instead. It was done pretty quickly, but I'm still happy with how it turned out.

This is a photocopy of the printed out page, with Stan Lee's signature at the bottom left corner.

When we slid the page in front of Stan, his jaw dropped a little, and he got a big grin on his face.

"Wow! This is amazing!" were his first exclamations. And then "THAT'S ME! WOW!" He said, as he noticed his image in the "also in this sensational issue" box.

His body guard had to remind him to sign the page, making everyone laugh. We shook hands, at it was pretty fricken awesome.

Awww, he sounds like a cool guy. For a rushed job, I think this came out pretty well. :nod: Haha, Stan Lee looks adorable in that box. :meow: Too cute.

He is! We also got a photo op with him later, and he joked around with us cause we were in costume. Brad as Wolverine, and me as Black Widow. Brad had made his own claws for the costume, and Stan said to me "Wow! Don't those look dangerous! I hope he doesn't use them on you! -nudge nudge-" To which I responded waving my pretend pistol[later, I realised, stupidly since it wouldn't do anything to wolverine even if it was real..] "He better not! I'd shoot him."

Then snap! Picture was taken. Shook hands again, and off we were pushed.

But still, awesome.
